Presently i use gladiators but i use my dragon armor some too.My whole problem is deciding what to use when i go do PvP.The gladiators is nice when we have monks who are not complete morons,but when they are i wish i had my dragons armor on.

I would prefer Glads with some form of knights for Damage reduction

i can understand damage reduction but like with my dragon armor i use absorption,and to top it off it all depends where the hit goes to whether damage reduction works or not.where a rune covers the whole body.

one knights or ascalon part counts -2 for whole armor.

Knight Boots - for the global absorption
Helm to match weapon, tactics or strength - for the 16 attribute
Gladiators everywhere else - for the energy
Stonefist Gauntlets if hammer user - for the bonus knock down time

I know that everyone says that the absorption on the armour is global...but when I tested it out....it wasnt the case for me.

I just found a superior abosrption and was torn between knights and Plate.

Since the rune was worth so much, I wanted to make sure that I put it on the armour that would be the best for me. So tested Platemail everywhere and Knight gloves. Then I tested Knights chest and Plate everywhere.

Well I noticed that I was consistently taking less damage with Knights armour on my chest and Plate everywhere. If the Knights armour absorption was global then I should of been taking less damage with Platemail chest (85) and one piece of Knights (gloves). But I was definitely taking less damage with Knights chest (80) and Platemail everywhere else.

I didnt do any scientific testing. I just ran out with Alesia in Sorrow Furnance and watched my damage.

Anyway..thats my 2 cents.
